6a. Google Analytics 4
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Ireland. This allows us to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive at the website, and how our content is used, in order to improve our services.
The data processed includes, in particular, page views, usage events, session information, the referring website, browser and device information, approximate location data, and pseudonymous cookie identifiers. When connecting to Google, the IP address is also technically processed; according to Google, individual IP addresses are not logged or stored in Google Analytics 4. Therefore, the analysis should not be equated with completely anonymous usage.
The legal basis for this is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR and, for the storage or retrieval of information on your device, Section 25 para. 1 TDDDG. The Google Analytics code will not load without your consent. Google Signals and its use for personalized advertising are deactivated in our integration.
Google Analytics uses the cookies "_ga" and "_ga_8DMW3RN53G" to recognize browsers and assign sessions. The default lifespan is up to two years and can be renewed upon reuse; browser settings can limit this. You can delete cookies in your browser at any time. The cookie lifespan is distinct from the retention of previously submitted analytics data by Google.
The recipient of the analytics data is Google. Processing by affiliated companies and service providers, including in the USA, is possible.
